Some of our dogs had the pleasure to help with The Great American Dog-A-Thon special that will air this Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 27, at 8pm ET. The special will spotlight rescue dogs and their owners and give information on how to adopt or foster a dog from a shelter. It will show silly viral pet videos and will give out awards such as Cutest Puppy, Best Celebrity Lookalike, and Best Licker. Along with tons of adorable dogs, there will be musical performances and celebrity appearances. Among these appearance will be LeAnn Rimes, Paula Abdul, Betty White, and Scarlett Johansson. Every year, millions of animals are euthanized because of overcrowding in shelters. We are so grateful that Fox has joined with some of the biggest names in Hollywood to promote pet adoption and help save the lives of these innocent animals. It is amazing to be a part of this special event!

So many of our own animals have been rescued and we can tell you first hand how rewarding it is to adopt. Not only do we have the opportunity to make a difference in these animals' lives, but we also open up our hearts and allow ourselves to be impacted by the compassion and loyalty these animals give in return. Come and watch the joy these animals can bring to our lives, listen to the stories from those who have adopted and fostered abandoned animals, and laugh as we watch dogs, well... be dogs!
